Thanks. For the setup I just went and collected a bunch of driftwood from the lake near here and cut it down to size and sterilized it. Then bought about 70 feet worth of reptivines and wrapped them around the driftwood. haha. I have a habba mist suctioned up on the left side to keep the humidity up between 75% and 85%. I'm still debating on putting lighting in the cage. He's always hiding in the darkest corner during the daytime and only comes out at night when it's pitch black in the room so I don't really see much point in it, other than putting one in to show off the pretty "empty" cage. lol. Also I couldn't find the size cage I wanted for an arboreal snake so I had one custom made from monster cages. Their prices are pretty good and they had it sent out to me in no time.

He was pretty psychotic when I first got him, striking at everything, bent on trying to kill me. haha. He would even start striking the side of the rubbermaid tub I had him in temporarily when I would walk in the room. I threw a blanket over the tub so he wouldn't hurt himself. Now he's mellowed down considerably. While he won't strike at the glass anymore when he's active, I certainly wouldn't stick my hand in there at any time during the night. During the day time however, he's practically comatose which made it really easy to treat him for parasites since he wouldn't eat until about 2 months after I had him. Now he eats regularly every week, though I've yet to see him eat since he only does it in darkness and if I put the food in before he comes out for his active night cycle. Maybe I'll set up a nightvision camera system. haha.

Other than that he's an awesome snake. Definately the most interesting snake I've ever had. I'll have to pick up a black and white phase when I get more room. Preferably female.
