I've seen big TX ssp that are darker (brown base color & pinkish blotched pattern) than most of the ones we have here in CA. The Desert Glossies from the desert region of San Diego county are pretty light. Jeff Lemm over on FHF found and albino earlier this year. The pics of that thing are awesome. I know AZ's got some beautiful Glossies (ssp. noctiva & philipi?) too. Right now, I've got a pair of what appear to be Mojave Glossy females (unprobed). One is an '06 hatch downing 2 live pinks a feeding session and the other is a 3 footer (unknown age) downing 3 live hoppers @ chow time. My small one is still small enough to pop, so I oughta go ahead an do that. Keep me posted on how your projects go.
