You'll need a bigger tank. Have you checked out Phrynosoma.org? You'll find all the basic info there for setting up and keeping your lizard.

Crickets should be ok till the ants arrive. They will usually freak out with the mist. Some get used to it and others don't. The water dish is good. Just make sure you clean it and put it closer to the light so it gets warm.
