Different airlines have different policies. What you have to do is check with the airline first on their policies about bringing pets on board in the cabin or find out if it will have to be shipped in the luggage area or if it won't be allowed on the plane at all. If you call and know in advance that they will or will not allow you to bring the snake on board, then you will know in advance if you have to arrange separate shipping of the animal when you are at the show.



I had a friend who moved out to California.. her mother had called the airline and they had no problem being allowed to bring a corn snake and gecko on the plane. They had been told that each animal had to be in secure containers that then could fit in a small cat carrier.
