Despite I can get them to accept scented pinks, they have never done well on them in the long run, so I feed them their natural lizard prey. Vice feeding 3-5 large brown anoles each per week, I often at times resort to iguanas. I view large shipments of iguanas and some babies just don't make it due to the shipping. Vice throwing them out, I freeze them for a few months and then boil them and feed them to snakes that eat lizards. Here is the large siphlophis eating an iguana. This is also quite a savings in time catching lizards and/or paying for them as the iguanas are free. Freezing kills some parasites and bacteria but not all and boiling them seems to do the trick killing all parasites and bacteria. So far all my snakes do much better on boiled lizards.
