Believe it or not, I just saw two of these on my porch, red eyes and all. One was slightly larger than the other. I've never seen anything like them so I ran inside to get my camera and by the time I came back out they were gone. These anoles were much more skittish and skitted around the porch very quickly as soon as opened the door - much faster than the regular green and brown lizards that usually run around my yard in droves, perhaps accounting for how they've managed to stay alive to adulthood despite their coloration. Additionally, my house is a tan color, and they were very close in coloration to the house.
