Sulcata Hatchling Feeding

Hello! I have a sulcata hatchling that seems very healthy, but doesn't seem to eat much. I put it outside on sunny days and notice that it eats some grass, etc... During poor weather I give it romaine and greens I pick outside. Just how much do they normally eat? He is about 2 1/2 inches long. Not sure how old he is, but I got him about 5 weeks ago. Thanks for any help!
