My Zonata laid 9 eggs on the 25th of May. This was really exciting for me as it was my first attempt at breeding snakes. My ecitement faded when many of the eggs turned gray and the rest started getting moldy. After three weeks I had removed and trashed 8 out of the 9 eggs because they were dark brown and caved in, but one, although half covered in mold, remained otherwise white and healthy looking. The fact that it didn't look like a mummy kept me hoping.

Yesterday, on the 28th of July, I came home from work and peeked on the last surviving egg, and saw this...



Yeah, I'm stoked.
