ok well i havent been up to par on your story but i would put a few cents on thats why not eating. first if your not already use paper as substrate and use plastic for hides and water dishes wood and stuff like that is prime for mite breeding. give your snake a nice 30-40 min soak or so in luke warm water not hot or cold that nice little medium lol. then wipe her down nice n good but while soaking clean the cage like a SOB as far as product goes i love provent a mite. works wonders but has to be ordered online. no pest strips go both way and have to make sure you use the right amount and that the snake can NOT touch it and do like a 3 day of strip in the take out clean cage water bowl etc replace with new news paper let be for three days without pest strip and go back to square one with it back in etc etc. most pet store carry mite off and thigns like that but personaly i dont like them havent worked for me. i hope some of this info helped and hopefully some1 else will chime in and give there 2 cents worth and fill in what i forgot
