I've been wanting to keep a western for years now, and alwats wanted to catch my own.

This June I caught an amazing red one in Study Butte, TX, but changed my mind and just played with it awhile.

In August, I captured this guy



And decided to keep it as an educational animal for presentations.

It played dead (kinda) for awhile.

It ate almost immediately after bringing it home.

It's no peaceful brute, but it will be a nice display animal.
