While researching the two before posting my Qs here I stumbled upon Bert Langerwerf's website and read the same thing you're saying, that AWDs are more temp tolerant, heartier, and a few other positive things.

I sent him an e-mail asking a few Qs and he was quick to respond with a very pleasant & informative reply. This was just last week. He told me that the price for the AWDs he had in stock at the time was $50, if memory serves me correctly.

That night I showed my wife pics of AWDs (Eastern) and she said she likes the CWDs more because they don't look as mean as the AWDs. Bert thought that was funny, I said, "Women!" Ha! Ha!

I've tried to convince her otherwise but no go, so, looks like she'll get her CWDs in a week or two and I'll have to wait until I finish setting up my reptile room and get me a group of AWDs. I've been planning on a big natural display but didn't have any specific creature in mind. I think I might've found it in AWDs. I think the males are absolutely beautiful.

Thanks, ticktom, for your input. I appreciate it. Oh, and yes, based on two e-mail exchanges between Bert & I, and based on what I've heard about him, he's the man to order from.

Have a good one!
HH
