I have tons in my yard I thought I had 2 types of geckoes . Small striped and large yellowish type.

Than I realized the tinier the gecko the more stripes and looked it up its a house gecko . Yours is a young one not baby but young thus the fading stripes.

I have some tiny tiny ones in my yard and a few huge ones (4 inches with tail) .

They are neat . I leave on yard floursecent light and they seem drawn to it at night imagine the insects .
