Very nice animals. I keep 6 agalmas born 2005, an adult female born in 2003 (the one that was sick, but now seems back to normal again), and a small rather dull male born 1999. He's actually smaller than all my 2005 snakes. The older male was ofered to me this summer and I bought it just because my other adult male died just a week after brumation.

I have a question for you. I have had difficulties identifying the origin of my agalmas. I mean, most seem to argue that they originate from the Sierra de San Pedro Martir but I find that strange since that area seems hard to get to, while the Sierra Juarez seems easier to reach. I have read Richard Mulks and Brian Hubbs books, but I have still not been able to determine this.

Five of my agalmas were bred the U.S and three of them were bred in Germany (Thomas Steffen). I know that my adult female was bred by Eric Stoops, but the older male and the newly acquired American 2005 trio, imported to Germany in 2005 and sold there to a friend of mine, - I have no idea at all who bred them.
