You have a point. In all the years I've been on this forum, I've never once gotten into a chat room. I don't even know how they work, but will look into it.
It's strange, but even though a lot of people keep both frogs and reptiles, the attitudes seem to be different between the basically snake people and the amphibian people. Has anyone noticed this? Sometimes the fact that we keep something that is called "poisonous" will attract other herpers, but we are less macho, more into environmental concerns than competing to see who has the longest snake or the best designer color. We have a different agenda. I love snakes, but simply have never kept them except as a few garter snakes as a kid. I've kept a few lizards, toads and other frogs, and enjoyed this. They just never overwhelmed me like keeping darts has. ----- Patty Pahsimeroi, Idaho
