some of you may have been following my posts regarding a rescue 50# female that was impacted with gravel, injured by a male tortoise and injured by a mean human. She arrived in my care in mid june. I am posting today because although she has passed water and gravel (and this only about once a month!) today she had her first normal tortoise poop!!! I am sooo happy for her. I swear she's smiling! It has been a long, drawn out process. I am still dealing with people problems involving her and her mate but I can say that her health is finally near normal. All injuries..healed, all ingested gravel...passed, we just hope she'll get some strength back in her hind legs. Moral of the story...never give up!!! Thanks to all of you who have added your support and advice.
