the smokey jungle frog, Leptodactylus pentadactylus, is the most common species, and the one Corwin identified on his show. the particular colors you asked about are more typical of the savages thin toed frog, another species of Leptodactylus found in the habitats and countries as the smokey. the savages thin toed are very difficult to come by and are almost always wild caught. i had two that i got from Regal Reptiles in Providence, RI. they were listed as smokey jungle frogs. unfortunealty, the two that i aquired died very quickly from ulcers, as a result of bacteria from poor shipping conditions after capture, even after being treated with a gentamicin soak for several days. they are very beautiful frogs and grow quite large if you aquire good individuals.
