I noticed this, too, but just guessed it was a temporary "new-tank" problem with loose particles of soil the frog is dragging about before the substrate gets tamped down and settles. Misting, as you are already doing, should gradually take care of this, but if it persists, more leaf litter as Otis suggests, will also help. Even in my older tanks however, the frogs will still drag some detritus onto the plant leaves. So you might want to spritz them off if this is a problem. (The plant leaves, not the frogs. Few darts appreciate direct "spritzing," although some individuals seem to revel in it.)

When I do my gentle misting, I usually also sharpen the mister adjustment to a more direct spray and also wash the frog poop and stuff from plant leaves with more force, as well.
