You should really wait until you are able to sex the water dragon and then look for the opposite sex afterwards. Putting two dragons together and having them both mature into territorial males spell disaster, but I don't know from personal experience.

In addition to ensuring the safety of your dragon, waiting also gives you the benefit of breeding in the future. If you only have room for two dragons (do you?), and they both end up being the same sex, you may not be able to introduce a third.

I would especially make sure you have adequate housing for two full grown water dragons. I'm barely comfortable having my mature male in a 6 x 4 x 2 enclosure and would someday like to expand the width and depth.
