I have no idea what phoenix worms are, we don't have them here in HOlland, but my animals do eat crickets but they are a bit to fast, they usually wait for the cricket to walk into their mouth!

Mealworms, and waxworms are the prefered fooditems. If the shrubs are not toxic you can always try to feed them.

A friend of mine keeps T. novaeguineae and these guys also eat snails, I tried feeding snails to T. gracilis but so far not one has been eaten by my animals.
