hello. i just obtained a undetermaned philodryas sp. from a customer that comes in to the petstore that i work at because they could not take care of it any longer. i kno that they are opisthoglyphous (rear fanged). i was wondering first of if you need a venomous permit for them. ive been under the impression that you dont need one for rear fanged but a friend who owns venomous says i might. im not sure what sp. it is but i will post some pics soon once i find my camera. he is gray/ olive
with faint white/ yellow vertibral spots. i think it might be a P. patagoniensis. thanks you for your information and help!
