Many years ago I kept 2 hatchling cal kings( a pair) together and they never bothered each other and would lay on top of each other. They were both kept well fed and would be separated during feeding. Well a year and a half later one night for some reason the female turned on the male and tried to eat him. she was constricting him and I safely pried them a part from each other. since then I have always kept them separate. honestly it is not worth the risk. they are unpredictable. Even during breeding they should also be supervised. Dave
