Standings day gecko question

Hello, I'm curious to know whether Standings day geckos are handle-able, or if they should not be handled. My leopard and crested geckos are OK with me picking them up -- they don't get scared and try to run away. Are Standings like that, or are they more skittish and likely to run away? I like the larger size of the Standings but don't want to risk losing one.
