Or the "hognose chicken snake" that eats eggs? Supposedly, you can kill it by placing round doorknobs in the nest. The snake mistakes the doorknobs for eggs, swallows them and dies. I'm not even kidding. I actually heard this one, but to save the guilty party some embarrassment, I won't tell you who said it. It's someone we know.
