Posted by: megalon at Sat Mar 29 20:25:06 2008 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by megalon ] hi,i jusr picked up an adult pair of eastern painteds today,and i have a couple quick questions.i have them in a fenced pond in my backyard,with a couple of basking islands.ok,on to my questions;1,how many eggs ,on average,will an 8" female lay per clutch?and 2,will eastern painteds double clutch?i've bred yellow-bellied sliders,and double clutching is no problem with them.i'm just wondering so i have an idea of how many babies i'll have to find homes for this summer,ya know?thanks in advance for any and all help.
