So, I found online how to make one's own pond filter. Looked interesting! But the directions for the smallest filter was for a 2000 gallon pond! (That is for sure too much "overkill"! lol!) So I tried to scale it down, made the filter part out of a 5 gallon bucket. Bought the smallest sump pump I could find. It blew the cover off of the bucket! lol! What a mess! So this afternoon, I'm off to the pet store to see if I can find a smaller pump!
