Hi everyone,

I've got 5 red eared sliders. They're about 7 years old and I've moved them to my pond in the garden for about 3 years.

They've just recently become active after waking from hibernation but still not eating yet. The weather is still pretty cold here in London (about 5 degrees celcius at night).

I've noticed that one of them is getting quite sick but I'm not sure why or what to do.

During the day they all come up to bask and go back in the water to sleep at night but the other morning I noticed that one turtle stayed on the surface and looked as if it was dead (its head was pretty much hanging down). It started moving when I picked it up but was very weak and has since gotten worse.

It has no superficial problems (like eye infection) but it just seems as if it's going to pass away any day now.

I've taken it indoors so that it is warmer but it still hasn't gotten better. Any suggestions on what I should do would be very much appreciated.

Thanks so much for your time.
