in your range. That's what I assumed you had.
NW ringnecks are EXTREMELY difficult to work with. A couple years back a friend of mine and me obtained 2.2 each, adults, to work with, and establish in captivity.
Wow. I don't know what it is with these guys, but you just can't get them on a feeding schedule, out of the 8 we had between us, we had less than half take meals.
We assumed they only eat several months out of the year. But were unable to prove it, as after about half a year of working with them we gave up on them.
I had success getting one of mine to eat baby snakes. He had success getting some of his to eat baby snakes and tree frogs, but for the most part he was force feeding them.
I tried everything with them. No luck with worms, salamanders, fish, no luck with those.
I'd say just let it go, or try salamanders.
