I will reduce the baby food till you are only feeding him the crested gecko diet. Baby food is not a complete diet, often has extra sugars which he doesn't need. The crested gecko diet is much better for him. Once he is on 'pure' crested gecko diet, you can also cut out crickets except as a treat...

The temps are find so you don't need any additional heat or lights, other than ambient room light.

For paper towels, changing them as they are soiled or once a week works. The entire cage and all decorations should be cleaned once a month or so, especially if you notice alot of 'poop' on the leaves and perches.

Once baby food is opened, it can be refrigerated for a week or two. You can also freeze it in a ice cube tray to store it longer, just cover the tray with plastic, to prevent freezer burn. Thaw a 'cube' as needed before feeding. Once you have the crested gecko completely on the CGD, then you can just mix as you need. For a single crested gecko, mixing a quarter teaspoon of powder to half a teaspoon of water...will be enough for one meal (once he is an adult). Adjust amount depending on how much diet is left in the bowl in the morning..if it looks like he licked the bowl clean, increase the amount. you should see a little left over, especially for growing geckos...you want to make sure they are getting enough. Once they are over 15 months old, you don't need to feed as much or as often, unless its an egg laying female.

Food should be removed every morning to prevent it molding. It typically dries out over night anyway...though it depends on the humidity in the cage and amount left.
