i may be mistaken about this,(and if i am,i'm sure that corrections will come soon enough),but all the breeding age females that i've ever seen were at least 8" or so.sliders are pretty good escape artists,however.i finally had to put a chicken-wire fence around my backyard pond to keep my y.b.s.s in the pond,they would just climb over any decorative border that i put around it.anyhow, 5 1/2" just seems too small for breeding.

0.0.1 mississippi map (lil' dummy)
0.0.1 cb ally snapper (gamera)
1.0 cb albino corn (rusty)
0.0.1 wc halloween crab
0.1 irritating cat (sassy )
2.0 cb children (sidney,13 & kaelan,5)
0.1 wc wife (danae,age withheld due to fears for personal safety)
