Thanks for the response! Did you do this to your snapper because it had fungus also? I am just worried because I have never heard of fungus growing on turtles before. It looks like a ball of brownish fur hanging on the shell. Will this effect my turtles health in the long term since its still just a baby? I do a 100% water change once a month and I am using a regular 75 watt household light bulb 12 hours a day just to provide the natural day/night cycle. Does any of these routines sound like it could be problems? Thanks again for all of your responses. I really appreciate it.
