I've never had a problem until I started buying the new food. in the past my CGD would just dry up. Now, especially in the baby cages it goes fuzzy like a baby mouse in about 5 hours. Not really giving the babies all that much time to eat. They are in ventilated 8x8 tupperware dishes. 16 holes around the edges. I mist them in the morning and in the evening and have a soda lid filled with water in them as well as a hide. The papertowels in the container arn't moldy and are dry when i mist. Most likely i'm just going to have to learn to live with the problem, i just wondered if others were having the same problem.
