I have 2 turtles one being a yellow bellied slider/river cooter(not 100% sure what it is)and the other a red eared slider. I got both turtles within a week of each other. They instantly got along well, ate well and basked in their light for most of the day. I had no worries.

Today I noticed a yellowey-orange bump on the back of "Cooter's" neck/head! It seems like it might come off, but I am not sure. I rubbed it with my finger and I can feel it sticking up. I have no clue what it is, but I know it was not there yesterday.

I am looking for suggestions of what it may be, suggestions on where to look to find info about this, or if I should just atke him/her to be looked at.

Please help!!
