Leeway Corucia Research Center (LCRC)
Although not a scientific paper, being research oriented , I thought I would post this here for the benefit of others.
It has been asked what we used for C/A biometric measurements. We use a 5" (127 mm) General Vernier Caliper.
A Wescott Stainless steel ruler is used for SVL, LOA , and for anterior foot length at the junction of the ulna/radius-carpal bones (the latter for SENI Biometric Ratio {Schnirel, 2002} measurements).
Girth Measurements are made by a Sadler Circumference measure.
Gram Weight Measurements in grams are done with a Sunbeam digital 10 lb. postal scale. after compensating for tar weight, we use a inward curved bowl to keep the individual from climbing out .
Sincerely, Brian LCRC
