I've had frogs for several years and until recently used a heat lamp and thermostat to regulate the temp (78 degrees F). I read somewhere that heat lamps were not ideal, but there was no real explanation why. I have never liked the way the lamp looks, so I switched to a heat pad. Since I have done this, there is too much condensation. I am pumping air into the tank (40 gal air pump for a 30 gal tank)and the air humidity is fine (I have a gage). I think what I need to some how heat the glass up, but I cant think of a practical way to do it.
Any ideas?
