Hi, sooo when ever i reach to get my crestie out of her cage she completely.. flips!

She runs as fast as she can when ever i come within a cm or 2 then as I'm pulling her out she panics and jumps off my hand and runs really fast, but as soon as i get her out she's pretty much fine. She crawls all over my hands going moderately slow, she won't even jump off.

Although if I set her down on a table then go to pick her up again she'll bow her head and firmly press it against the table that shes lying on so i can't pick her up.

Any ideas as to why she's like this?

I Have always been very gentle with her.

Also shes about a week away from being a year old, and shes 3 and a half inches, head to butt, 6 inches when tail is included, is that size right? Because to me it seems to small
