.. perfect day if you are a Chuckwalla! .. intermittent bright sun and clouds, temperatires in the 90's.. . .. as soon as I approach this pen the little-pig juvenile Hispidus come out to see what I may have brought them.. .
 . .. these things are the most curious and tolerant of any lizard I've kept, rivaled only by my Pto. Penasco chucks.. it's easy to pick one up for a visit. .
 . .. then all the others want to know what's going on (and what's for dinner).. .
 . WEEDS are on the menu.. they love junk weeds, and I believe they thrive on stuff like this.. I could give you the exact plants that I encourgae around the place.. but then (you know the rest..).. .
 . .. here's a Puerto Penasco female in a different pen that came out for a look. .
 . These are really great lizards.. but don't try them unless you can supply an environment with good UV exposure and the right temperatures. . Thanks! .
