I am not planning on feeding a strictly mouse diet, variety is best. But with mice being upwards of 80% of the whole prey diet, it would be most cost effective to breed my own. Kibble has many problems. Ferrets can not digest fruits and vegetables, but yet these kibbles often contain tons. It would be like feeding a boa an apple, pointless.
