Efts will eat any suitable-sized inverts- pinhead crickets, hatchling roaches, fruit flies, very small earthworms or mealworms, etc. They need a moist substrate (chopped coir substrate, such as Bed-a-Beast, is great), a hide or two, and a shallow water dish which they can easily enter and exit. Adequate light to see them by is all you need unless you choose to grow plants in the tank. Occasional misting is a good idea. Room temp (68-72 F) is fine. I'd say a 5 gallon tank is more than adequate for one or two efts.
