I live in Montana (where it can get to -20), and have 5 frogs in a pond 3 feet deep, with just a liner, no mud or anything. There will be plants with soil in the pots, however. In the winter, I'll have a heater that will keep a portion of the pond free of ice. What I'm wondering is if the frogs will be able to do ok in winter.
