Shedding problems are due to husbandry and humidity more than genetics.
If I was in your position I would hold on to the gecko and see if this figures itself out in the next couple months. If it has shedding problems, you NEED to tell the customers before selling it, and you should quiz them to make sure they know what to do with a gecko with shed problems. It's true that some people might not buy a gecko with shedding problems, but those are also people who probably know they wouldn't be able to care for it in the proper way, and you shouldn't push selling to these people. I at least wouldn't want you selling it and the new owners not taking care of the problem and the gecko having to suffer for it.
