I forgot that I posted on here about my little snake but figured an update would be good. I started leaving 1-2 small earthworms in the tank about a month ago. They burrowed into the substrate but would go missing one by one. Yesterday was my first viewing of the little guy eating. I put a red wiggler next to him in the tank (He was out crawling around) and after giving it a once over with his nose, he clamped down on the middle before dragging it into his "lair" that he's made of autumn leaves. He seems to be a steady eater and I hope to fatten him up a bit before the spring, which is when I'll be releasing him back into my backyard.
