Are you sure he's not? I mean, is it possible that his feces are going unseen in the vegetation? Is the enclosure bare ground? If you're keeping him on grass, it is very possible that such treasure may be hidden. When he does present feces, are they hard or soft? Are they flecked with white crystal like urates?

Odds are, if he's enthusiastically eating, you have no problems. However, if his feces are soft, then more roughage is in order. This would also explain their absence, as such are readily trampled, washed, eroded away. If you see urates, it could indicate dehydration, which would also potentially precipitate constipation. However, like I said, if he's enthusiastically eating, he's probably fine.
