I've got a couple spring peepers that decided to get into my house via a ride on my dogs from my backyard. I keep snakes, lizards and bugs already anyway but will Fruit flies, both D. melanogaster and D. Hydei be a good staple diet? Should I start a culture of one of the bigger species of fruit flies for these guys or will they continue to pay attention to smaller ones as they grow. I've got earthworms and mealworms to vary their diet.. Plus I'm working on a fairly big natural habitat for them that I'd be able to breed them in hopefully... I've only had bigger frogs and toads that ate the roaches I had or pinkies.... large American frogs and toads . Now I'm trying my hand at small slightly arborable american species... Working my way eventually towards Dendrobates and Mantellas.
