NORTHAMPTON CHRONICLE (UK) 20 October 08 Hunt for missing Flash the tortoise
A 14-year-old tortoise has been stolen from a garden in Conyngham Road, Little Billing, earlier this month.
Sometime between 11.20am on Wednesday October 8 and 11.20am on Thursday October 9 someone gained entry to the garden and either allowed Flash to escape or stole him.
Flash is a Spurside Greek Tortoise and has spurs on the side of his back legs.
Police, who have released details of the incident this morning, would like to speak to anyone who may have seen anyone acting suspciously on the Conyngham Road area of Little Billing at the time or anyone who may have been offered a tortoise matching Flash's description for sale.
Witnesses or anyone with any information about the whereabouts of Flash is asked to contact police on 08453 700 700 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
