>>I have never heard of a herbivorous tegu...
>>
>>I find some are pickier than others, plus it's a time of year when many begin to lose their appetites and prepare for brumation.
>>
>>I have a red that loves fruit of many kinds and will pick it out of the meat to eat. One B/W will eat fruit and meat, another B/W eats more meat, less fruit. Of course the Colombian is carnivorous.
>>
>>I would offer a bigger variety of fruits than just bananas; mix it with the meat if you have to. Also offer whole prey items: rodents, chicks, fish. Ground turkey is OK, but lacks minerals.

I have tried strawberries, apples, grapes, mango, greens, carrots, pears, plums, etc. and the only thing she would even do was banana....and even then she only ate a small amount.

I just want to make sure she is fine and that she is not haveing a prob becasue of diet. She is growing like normal but she has always had a bit of trouble shedding....I know it is somehting i just have to figure out what....oh and she gets one to two large mice a week
