So recently I had to gently push my crested out of the way in order to put her food bowl down in her cage, freshly refilled, of course. She wasn't having it, and made her displeasure known audibly! It sounded like a parrot imitating a dog, if that description makes any sense. She didn't bite or run away - she just didn't want to be moved.

It struck me as both funny and cute, especially given that she is almost always silent, even including the times I've had to fairly vigorously persuade her to come out of her leaves for cage cleaning or just to interact with her. Normally the only sounds I hear from her terrarium are leaves rustling when she moves or a thump when she jumps.

Anybody else have similar experiences and/or just have geckos that are more frequently vocal than mine? (The only other time I've ever heard her "speak" was early in her life when she actually squawked at my leopard gecko in the next cage over!)
