In addition to the veggies - you can crumble some Mazuri Tortoise pellets on top of the veggies.



Also, a portion of their diet can be composed of pellets and ground up 10-bean soup mix. Pretty bird finch pellets are excellent, and rep-cal iguana pellets work too. The 10-bean soup mix should have the kidney beans removed and coarsely ground in a coffee maker.



You can offer this mixture occasionally, or leave it in a shallow dish all day. I leave a shallow dish of this mixture in the tank at all times with my mali - he eats his veggies and nibbles on the seed/bean mixture as well.
