I have four GTP's I bought in 05 as hatchlings. I figured I was bound to have a pair with four. I've raised them up and it turns out I have 1.3. The females have never turned down a meal. Over the past year and a half, the male has gone off food for months at a time. He will go 5 months without food, eat for two months, then go off food for another 4- 5 months, then eat for two etc. He is much smaller than the females at this point. I've read in Greg Maxwell's book that males often go off feed, but I figured it was a cyclic thing as with zonata's. My male is only eating for two to three months out of the year. Is this the typical fasting for males as Maxwell mentioned, or should I be looking at something else? I don't think temp., humidity or caging is an issue. I'd appreciate any input. Thanks

Marc
