Sweet Curtis! I just got a new female Sunday from a friend in RI. She looks exactly like the pic of the spottie in Ohio...My buddy is going snake crazy and sold/selling all his turtles and tortoises, so I talked him into an IOU in the future for her.I put her in a 55gal for a temp. til I move some of my others around and my damn luck!..3 eggs in the water.I never even gave her being gravid a thought, so I didn't have a nesting spot in the 55, just some drift wood basking spot.I found them to late,and all cracked.That's the 2nd time I've lost eggs now.That wont happen again.I'm working on a big land area for all of them now.Ya have to get pretty creative when you're laid off and broke.You'll have another 1 before mid summer Curtis if all goes as planned.
