Posted by: Pauly at Sun Jan 25 18:12:10 2009 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by Pauly ] I had a Z. karsteni in with my Z. quads. for several years until I got rid of him/her because I couldn't find any others. Lately I have seen them advertised online...c'est la vie. Seemed to thrive under the same conditions that I kept them...which was pretty basic to begin with. Very sandy soil mix, with some cypress thrown on top. a small rock pile and a stack of wood to climb in, on, and around. Ate anything also, just like the quads. They sort of pick at chopped fruits and veggies, but they are crazy for any type of insects. Although I gave them hotter areas, I never saw any of them bask above a surface temp @100. Night never got lower than 60. [ Reply To This Message ] [ Subscribe to this Thread ] [ Show Entire Thread ] | ||
